What is the focus of your work in the MINOUW project?
Work Packages 2 and 3
Who are you?
I am a fishery economist working for NISEA since 2013. Before that, I worked as researcher for CEMARE, Centre for the Economics and Management of Aquatic Resources, Portsmouth (UK), and for IREPA, Economic Research Institute for Fishery and Aquaculture, Salerno (Italy).
I have a background in the analysis of socio-economic aspects of Italian and Mediterranean fisheries. In the last years, my research activities have been mainly directed to the development of bio-economic models and the impact assessment of management measures.
Why do you think the MINOUW project is important?
“The project is a great opportunity to progress towards a sustainable development goal in the fishing sector.”
