Who are you?
Senior Researcher at the Marine Science Institute (Spain’s Research Council: CSIC, Barcelona) since march 2010. Ph.D. in Biology (1990) at the University of Barcelona (UB).
I work on marine ecology and fisheries investigating the ecological effects of fishing on benthic communities and the seabed, mainly in the Mediterranean.
Why do you think the MINOUW project is important?
“The MINOUW project can help to better understand the fishing activity perturbation on benthic ecosystems and facilitate an Ecosystem-based management at level of Mediterranean fisheries.”
